Small mistakes that slow down your first demo
Do this
- Record straight from Google Chrome — it's the only browser with full support for HTML cloning; on others, recording is limited to video and screen capture.
- Close tabs you're not using before recording — too many open tabs slow down capture, especially on complex pages.
- Use the trackable link once you upgrade — it shows whether the client opened the demo and where they dropped off, great for knowing when to follow up.
Avoid
- Relying on the free plan to scale: the cap is 5 guided demos in total, not per month. Anyone recording weekly hits the ceiling fast.
- Expecting the dashboard in Portuguese — the editor and menus are English only; only the demo's content can be translated, and that's a paid feature.
- Exporting the video assuming it'll come out clean: on the free plan, MP4 exports have a watermark and are capped at 1080p — 4K without a watermark is paid-plan only.

I tested it by recording the signup flow of some random system I use — and the most surprising part wasn't the capture itself, it was the caption the AI wrote on its own for each step, almost ready to use as-is. What bugged me: I was tempted to export it as video assuming it would come out clean, and got caught off guard by the free plan's watermark. For a salesperson who lives on follow-ups, this seriously competes with booking a call — but the price jumps fast if you want to see who actually opened the link.

Is Supademo free?
Yes. The Free plan is permanent, no credit card required: it lets you create 5 guided interactive demos and 50 video recordings (4K), with unlimited views for anyone who receives the link. Past that, you need a paid plan.
Do you need a credit card?
No. Not to open a free account, and not for the 14-day trial on paid plans (Scale and Growth). A card is only required if you actually decide to subscribe after the trial.
Does Supademo work in Portuguese?
The dashboard and editor menus are in English only. What does work in Portuguese is your demo's content: Supademo's AI (a paid feature, from the Scale plan up) translates captions and even voiceovers into 15+ languages, including Portuguese.
Can I use it on mobile?
To create a demo, no — recording is done through the Chrome extension or the desktop app (Mac or Windows). Whoever receives the link, though, can view it just fine on mobile, including demos optimized for mobile apps.
