When another door fits better
Delphi blends three things: a chatbot trained on your content, a voice clone, and a verified public-profile "face". If you only need one of those pieces, going straight to it is usually cheaper and simpler.
If all you want is a chatbot trained on your site and PDFs to answer client questions — without the voice and verified-identity layer — it's simpler and cheaper.
If what you want is a video avatar of yourself, for recording lessons or sales videos without appearing live, it's the more direct route — Delphi doesn't generate video.

Do I need to enter a credit card?
The sign-up screen only shows login by email or by Google account — we saw no card requirement to create the free account. What Delphi does require, before activating your clone, is a photo of you holding an ID document.
Does Delphi work in Portuguese?
Your clone talks to visitors in 40+ languages, Portuguese included — it's one of the Free plan's selling points. The dashboard where you build and train your Mind (the Studio), though, is in English.
Does it work on mobile?
It works through your phone's browser, no install needed. We found no official Delphi app in the app stores — the "Delphi Pro" app listed on the App Store is from a different developer, unrelated to the platform.
Can I clone anyone, even without their knowledge?
No. You can only create a Digital Mind of yourself or someone who gave you explicit permission. Delphi manually verifies every account and asks for a photo of your ID before activating the clone — their safeguard against unauthorized clones.
How long does it take to get a clone ready?
Delphi itself promises about 15 minutes for your first Digital Mind to go live, syncing content you already have. In practice, reviewing wrong answers and refining the tone is ongoing work, not a task that ends on day one.
