What it is

An AI that gets the text right inside the image

Reve Image is an AI image generator and editor that treats every image almost like a design project, with layout, text and composition planned before it's drawn, not after. In practice: you chat with it, ask for an image, and can keep refining or editing by clicking directly on elements, instead of writing a whole new prompt for every tweak. Think of it as a design intern who already understands layout, not just "making things look pretty".

Why it matters

The crooked label nobody approves on the first try

You've probably been there: you ask an AI for a nice-looking package design, the composition comes out great… and the product name comes out as scrambled, dream-like letters. So you open another program to rewrite by hand what should have come out right the first time.

16 MP

Reve treats every image as a layout: text, position and style get planned before rendering. That covers glass labels, storefront signs, packaging copy, the text is born in the right place, with the right letters. And native resolution reaches 16 megapixels (true 4K x 4K), print-ready without a last-minute upscaling step.

In your day

The five times you'd open Reve on a real project

1 · Packaging

Draw the product label and ask for the real name written on it, without rolling the dice ten times hoping the letters come out legible.

2 · Brand identity

Upload a reference of your mascot or character and ask for a new pose. It keeps the same face and style, instead of reinventing it from scratch.

3 · Quick tweak

Click directly on the element you want to change inside the image itself, a color, an object, and it turns into an editable layer, no other app needed.

4 · Print material

Generate the banner or poster already at high native resolution, ready to send straight to print.

5 · Client sign-off

Sketch three different composition directions in one conversation, so you walk into the meeting with options already ready, without burning the whole afternoon on it.

Step by step

From the first click to an image ready to export

// interface checked in July 2026 — if something looks different, look for the button name in Reve's help center
  1. Go to app.reve.com and create your account

Click "Sign up" and continue with Google, Apple or email. No credit card required.

  2. Type your idea into the chat box

Write what you want in plain language and hit send, the arrow button. No special syntax or commands to learn.

  3. Refine the image you liked

Click "+ Select" above the image and give more direction, Reve creates a new version without erasing the original.

the conversation continues, you don't lose what you had
  4. Edit by clicking directly on an element

Select a specific area of the image and describe what you want to change there, color, object, texture, without rewriting the whole request.

  5. Adjust count, aspect ratio and sharpness

In image prompt mode, click "Auto" to set Count (how many variations), Aspect (ratio) and Enhance before generating.

  6. Download the final image

Once you approve the result, export it at the size you need, the piece is already born at high resolution.

A ready-made prompt to test Reve's text skills

prompt Create the label for a glass essential oil bottle for a fictional brand called Alma. Light beige background, soft studio lighting, 3/4 angle, blurred background. On the label, clearly write the text "ALMA — essential oil", centered, in a thin, legible serif typeface.

If the label text comes out legible and in the right place on the first try, you've just felt what sets Reve apart from most AI image tools.

What few people know

What I learned clicking into every corner of the image

Do this

  • Upload reference photos before asking for a variation, Reve keeps the same face, mascot or palette across pieces, instead of recreating it from zero each time.
  • Click directly on the element you want to change, instead of describing the change in running text, layer-based edits come out more precise.
  • If the piece is for print, generate straight at native high resolution, Reve delivers true 4K, no extra upscaling step needed.

Avoid

  • Assuming the free plan is neutral with your images: by default, they feed Reve's own model training, only paid plans let you opt out.
  • Counting on real video generation outside of Pro: Free gets a one-time allowance at sign-up, and Lite ($7.99) doesn't add any more.
  • Expecting a fixed number of images per day, Reve only says "basic creative energy refreshed daily", you find the real limit by generating.
Challenge · 5 minutes

Edit a photo of your own in the next 5 minutes

Upload a photo of a product or package you already have in hand and ask Reve to change just one detail, the name, the background color, an object nearby, while keeping the rest exactly the same.

It worked if the rest of the image stays intact and the new text comes out legible, no crooked letters.

Is it for you?

Who actually gets the most out of Reve Image

Really worth it if you…

  • Are a designer, social media manager, or work with packaging and labels, and need legible text inside the image itself
  • Want to edit an image by clicking the right element, without opening Photoshop just to change a color
  • Will print the final piece and need high resolution without an extra upscaling step

Think twice if you…

  • Depend on generating video frequently, outside of Pro the feature is quite limited
  • Work with sensitive material and don't want it feeding model training on the free plan
  • Only feel comfortable with a fully localized interface, Reve's menus are in English
Is it free? How far it goes

How much it actually costs, in dollars

It's free to start, yes, no card required. But Reve doesn't state an exact number of images you get on the free day, it just says "basic creative energy, refreshed daily". If you want more predictability, you pay for extra energy on Lite or Pro.

Free

$0 — basic creative energy refreshed every day, basic storage, and a one-time video energy allowance at sign-up. No card.

Lite

$7.99/month + tax — 5x more energy and 5x more storage than Free. Video allowance stays the same as Free.

Pro

$19.99/month + tax — 100x more energy and storage, 250 video energy per month (plus the ability to use standard energy for video, up to 100/day) and the option to opt out of model training.

Worth knowing: Reve doesn't publish a fixed image count per day, it only compares in multiples ("5x", "100x") of the free tier, and there's no published annual plan. Official prices in US dollars, as of July 2026.

Is it worth it?

The grade I'd give it after testing

4.1 (out of 5)

I'll be direct: for anyone making a piece with text inside it, a label, a package, a banner, a post with a printed phrase, Reve Image is one of the few AI image tools today that actually gets the text right, no scrambled letters. I tested it by asking for a fictional product name inside a glass label, and it came out clean and centered without needing a third attempt. What bothers me is the lack of transparency on the free plan: Reve won't tell you how many images you get per day, just "basic energy refreshed daily", and your generations train their model unless you pay to opt out. For a quick test, or to decide whether to buy, it's great. For heavy studio work without knowing your exact limit, I wouldn't rely on it alone.

Tested and checked against official sources on July 15, 2026.

In favor

  • Renders text inside images far more precisely than most competitors, great for packaging, signage, labels and text-driven posts
  • Click-based editing: turns any element of the image into an editable layer, no need to describe the change in a prompt
  • Native resolution up to 4K (true 16 megapixels), print-ready without an extra upscaling step
  • Accepts image references, PDFs and even audio as inspiration sources to keep consistency across pieces

Against

  • The free plan doesn't state a fixed number of images per day, just "basic energy refreshed daily"
  • Your generations train Reve's model by default on the free plan, only paid plans let you opt out
  • Video generation is quite limited outside of Pro: Free only gets a one-time allowance, and Lite doesn't add any more
  • Interface and help center are English-only, you can write your prompt in Portuguese, but the menus aren't translated
Common questions

What's still unclear before you sign up

Is Reve Image really free?

There's a permanent Free plan, no credit card needed: you get basic creative energy refreshed every day, plus a one-time video energy allowance when you sign up. Reve doesn't publish a fixed number of images per day, it just calls it "basic".

Do I need a credit card?

No, not to create the free account. A card is only needed if you subscribe to Lite ($7.99/month) or Pro ($19.99/month).

Does it work in Portuguese or other languages?

For writing your prompt, yes, Reve interprets natural language in Portuguese, Spanish and other languages. The menus, buttons and help center on the site are in English, though; there's no localized interface as of this review.

Does it work on mobile?

It works through your phone's browser, since Reve runs directly at app.reve.com. We didn't find an official Reve app on the Apple or Google app stores as of this review, avoid installing third-party apps using its name, they have no official ties to the company.

Does my content train Reve's AI?

On the Free plan, yes, by default, Reve's own pricing page lists this as "opt-in only". Only Lite and Pro subscribers can opt out of that.

Can I generate video too?

Yes, but it's limited: the Free plan gets a one-time video energy allowance at sign-up that doesn't renew, Lite doesn't add any more, and only Pro brings a real monthly allowance, 250 video energy per month, plus the option to use standard energy for video.
