One sentence turns into a full song — vocals, lyrics, and instruments.
By Thiago Lourenço Martins
Suno is a free tool that turns a text sentence into a complete song — with singing vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation — in under a minute. Think of it like calling a recording studio, describing what you want, and getting the finished track on the same call. You do not need any music knowledge, no instrument skills, no songwriting experience: just describe what you want.
You need an intro jingle, a background track for a video, or a theme song for a campaign. Royalty-free music banks are a treasure hunt — and even then, copyright claims can still happen.
With Suno you describe what you want — "upbeat funk, lyrics about productivity, male vocals" — and get two original music options in under a minute. It is yours, generated on the spot, for free.
Creates custom intro jingles, background tracks, and theme songs for each video series — no sound library or license needed.
Produces an original jingle for an Instagram ad or radio spot in minutes — without hiring a music producer.
Creates a didactic song to help students remember content: "make a pop song that explains the phases of mitosis".
Click "Sign Up" (top right). You can sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Discord. No credit card required. The free plan gives you up to 10 songs per day.
The creation area opens in the center of the screen, with a large text field in the middle.
// the interface is in English by defaultDescribe the style, mood, and theme: "upbeat jazz about Monday mornings, funny lyrics, female vocals". The more specific, the better the result. Then click the "Create" button.
Suno always generates 2 versions from the same description. Listen to both before deciding. If neither works, click "Reuse Prompt" to generate two new variations.
The Custom toggle appears above the description field. It separates the lyrics ("Lyrics") from the musical style ("Style of Music"). Paste or write your lyrics in the "Lyrics" field. In the style field describe: "acoustic folk, soft guitar, slow tempo, melancholic".
// use [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge] tags in the lyrics to control structureClick the three-dot menu next to the song and choose "Download". The file exports as MP3. On the free plan, songs are visible on your public Suno profile.
30-second intro jingle for a YouTube productivity channel. Upbeat electronic pop style, motivating lyrics in English, chorus featuring the channel name, mixed vocals (male and female). Energetic and youthful tone.
You get two original jingle options, ready to use as your channel's intro. Paste it in "Song Description" or in the "Lyrics" field in Custom mode.
* Independent suggestion, chosen for content quality. We have no relationship or sponsorship with the channel. Video is in Portuguese.
Open Suno, activate Custom mode, and write a short lyric (one verse and one chorus) about your channel's theme, plus a style description. Generate two versions.
You succeed if one of the two can be used as a background track or intro jingle in your next piece of content — without opening any sound library.

Short version: to go from a sentence to a fully sung song in Portuguese in about a minute, Suno is the easiest and cheapest way there is. The free plan is generous — 10 songs a day. But there's a big catch, and it's legal. On the free plan the song isn't yours: Suno owns it, and you can only use it personally, nothing commercial. And Portuguese pronunciation still slips on words with tricky sounds. For fun, personal use, testing: go for it, free. To use in a monetized video or a jingle, subscribe to Pro before generating — otherwise the track isn't yours.
Tested and checked against official sources on July 2, 2026.
The free plan is permanent and needs no card: 50 credits a day, about 10 songs. What's limited isn't just the quota — it's the usage rights, which only come with a paid plan.
US$ 0 — 50 credits/day (~10 songs), no card. Personal use only: the generated song belongs to Suno.

US$ 30/mo (US$ 24 annually) — ~2,000 songs/mo and studio features. In dollars.
Two caveats: price is dollar-only (international card + tax; no Pix or boleto confirmed) and credits don't roll over month to month. Official prices as of July 2026.
When the bottleneck is the LYRICS: it writes, rhymes and adapts lyrics for you.
